BOARD OF EDUCATION AND UNPAID PROPERTY TAXES:

June 7,2009

Because I don't have access to internet, except at work, I felt everyone should have access to the correct information on the Board of Education and Unpaid Property Taxes.

Citizens can go on-line and look at the information first-hand. We blame the commissioners and chairman for our troubles, but they inherited this situation and are trying to correct as much as possible. I encourage everyone to look at the taxes that has not been collected. With the current staff in her department, why are so many taxes uncollected?  There is absolutely no excuse for unpaid taxes dating back to 2002 thru 2007. In several instances, just one individuals taxes will pay the salary of one county employee.

Hope this helps the citizens understand the county's situation. Would appreciate your placing page 2 on the blog for everyone to visit.

Thanks CONCERNED
